ARE TEENS RECEIVING THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TO FACE THEIR GREATEST CHALLENGES?
High school is a challenging time.
Our teens are transitioning to adulthood, while independence, responsibilities, and expectations are increasing. They are faced with conflicting demands involving parents, teachers, friends and social media. Most teens in today’s world need sources to aid in this transition.
Thats where The Bianca Foundation comes in; our youth coaches work hand in hand with teens to identify their needs, discuss their concerns, and move forward through guidance, patience, and understanding.
CHALLENGES FACING OUR TEENS TODAY:
Peer Pressure & Bullying
Excess school workload
Conflict with parents, siblings & friends
Lack of communication
Drugs, sex & alcohol
Anger, fear & depression
Time management & organization
OUR LIFE-SKILL CLASSES WILL GIVE OUR TEENS THE TOOLS TO:
Learn to manage their emotions in a healthy way.
Learn how to communicate effectively
Learn how to build confidence and social skills.
Learn how to set goals for their future and self-improvement.
How can your teenager enrolling in Bianca Foundation life coaching classes benefit you as a parent?
While you’ll always want to be there for your children, sometimes the best thing you can do is accept that in some situations, it simply can’t be done.
Some teens value privacy, and feel shy to share certain aspects of their lives with you. We understand how difficult this can be to accept. Suddenly, your little one isn’t so little anymore, and he/she is ready to explore the world, experimenting with everything that life has to offer. The truth is, you can’t control everything they may encounter, and there comes a time where you may have to stand back and let them learn on their own.
While this may seem scary, your role as a parent is to ensure there are ample measures in place to provide the skills necessary for your child to navigate through life with ease and grace. Our youth coaches will help your child hone and develop mature methods of dealing with conflict, stress, and anger, all of which could potentially make life for you, and for your child, that much easier.
“If your plan is for 1 year, plant rice. If your plan is for 10 years, plant trees. If your plan is for 100 years, educate children.
Our weekly Sunday hike is postponed due to COVID-19. Please check back for updates. We look forward to being able to resume this enjoyable and relaxing activity.
